He has survived all the major French <em>post<\/em>-structuralists for whom he was a foil. Roland Barthes, Gilles Deleuze, Jacques Derrida, and Michel Foucault are all dead. There is an opportunity here for a little &#8220;<em>revanche<\/em>.&#8221; I think the man should write a book called <em>Post Post-Structuralism, by Claude L\u00e9vi-Strauss<\/em>.
