I also answered quite a few press calls that<\/p>\n<p>arose from yesterday&#8217;s press conference. Reporters are mainly interested<\/p>\n<p>in what is actually a fairly peripheral topic: the size of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.civicyouth.org\/research\/products\/fact_sheets_outside.htm\">decline<\/p>\n<p>in youth turnout<\/a> since 1972. In the evening, I briefed students from<\/p>\n<p>University of Maryland and other Maryland state campuses about the Rhodes<\/p>\n<p>Scholarship.
