By discussing what <em>we <\/em>would do in similar situations, we can develop civic skills, explore general issues, and form or strengthen relationships with other activists and thinkers.<br><br>You are invited to spend June 24 discussing your choice of two such cases in groups of up to eight peers. The day will also include plenary discussions and talks, including a keynote by Tisch College <a href=\"https:\/\/now.tufts.edu\/articles\/dayna-cunningham-new-dean-tisch-college-civic-life\">Dean Dayna Cunningham<\/a> on Multiracial Democracy.<br><br>Most of the cases have been developed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/snfagora.jhu.edu\/scholarship\/case-studies\/\">SNF Agora Institute at Johns Hopkins University<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justiceinschools.org\/\">Justice in Schools<\/a>, or the <a href=\"https:\/\/pluralism.org\/case-studies\">Pluralism Project at Harvard<\/a>,&nbsp;co-sponsors of Frontiers this summer. Selected cases can be <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.tufts.edu\/civicstudies\/case-studies\/\">found here<\/a>, and more options will be available by June. You are also enthusiastically welcomed to participate in-person at Tufts University\u2019s downtown Boston campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tischcollege.tufts.edu\/civic-studies\/frontiers-democracy-conference\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/tischcollege.tufts.edu\/civic-studies\/frontiers-democracy-conference\">Frontiers of Democracy<\/a> has been held annually since 2009, with a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It traditionally attracted about 140 activists and scholars or advanced students from many countries for relatively informal discussions of civic topics.
