The tool requires no specialized background or vocabulary to use. The graphic shows the <a href=\"https:\/\/equityresearch.tufts.edu\/?year=survey_year_2021&amp;ac1=a1age_18-29&amp;ac2=a2pewd_fboyi\">result for the whole population<\/a>. The rate has doubled since last year, and I suspect that&#8217;s because we have feared each other during this year of pandemic and political conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One can also look at differences by demographic category. For instance, <a href=\"https:\/\/equityresearch.tufts.edu\/?year=survey_year_2021&amp;ac1=a1rae_aab&amp;ac2=a2pewd_fboyi\">33% of Black Americans<\/a>&#8211;versus <a href=\"https:\/\/equityresearch.tufts.edu\/?year=survey_year_2021&amp;ac1=a1rae_w&amp;ac2=a2pewd_fboyi\">15% of whites<\/a>&#8211;believe that they are feared because of their identity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can explore hundreds of other combinations on the site.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the Tufts Equity Research website is a user-friendly tool that allows anyone to explore data from our May 2021 national survey.
