{"id":22118,"date":"2019-12-03T10:02:09","date_gmt":"2019-12-03T15:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peterlevine.ws\/?p=22118"},"modified":"2019-12-03T10:02:11","modified_gmt":"2019-12-03T15:02:11","slug":"give-to-grassroots-organizing-for-civic-participation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/peterlevine.ws\/?p=22118","title":{"rendered":"give to grassroots organizing for civic participation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>(Philadelphia) On Giving Tuesday, I am reluctant to name specific organizations to contribute to, other than my own employer (<a href=\"https:\/\/givingdays.tufts.edu\/giving-day\/19691\/donate?dept=19702\">Tisch College<\/a>) and the grant-seeking organizations on whose fiduciary boards I sit: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.streetlaw.org\/gift\/\">Street Law<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/connect.discoveringjustice.org\/give\/162697\/#!\/donation\/checkout\">Discovering Justice<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/interland3.donorperfect.net\/weblink\/weblink.aspx?name=E347315&amp;id=1\"> Everyday Democracy<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/civicseries.org\/donate\/\">Civic Series<\/a>. But I do want to make a general argument that might influence your choices.
