Grant Foundation&#8217;s website. It begins:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>My colleagues and I at the Center for Information &amp; Research on Civic Learning &amp; Engagement (CIRCLE) have been studying youth civic engagement since 2001. We\u2019ve looked at many forms of engagement that sustain democracies and communities\u2014from voting and volunteering to protest and participation in social movements.
